Logen nr 21 Arkipelagia av Finland I.O.O.F. Our lodge "Logen nr 21 Arkipelagia av Finland I.O.O.F" is situated in Pargas (Parainen in Finnish) in the south-west corner of Finland, also called "Genuine Finland". Most of this part of Finland is archipelago, comprising some 40 000 islands! Hence our name Arkipelagia = Archipelago Pargas is the only town in Finland with no land borders to any other town or municipality and comprising more than 10 000 islands. Finland is a country with two official languages, Finnish and Swedish, and our lodge’s language is Swedish. The lodge was founded march 4. 1972 and was then a lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Sweden.

We operate from our own lodge building which is enlarged from a building, more than 100 years old.
The building, situated on the top of a hill in Pargas, forms a significant landmark in the town.
Also working in the same building are our brothers in our daughter lodge 57 Airisto (a Finnish talking lodge),
our Rebekah sisters in 27 Gullkronan, Rebekah Encampment 7 Trifolium the Veronica society, Encampment  2 Åbohus and Encampment 17 Turunmaa (Finnish talking)
